Von Spanischem Pulvermagazin zum Museum

Entlang der Levante Mauer des historischen Zentrum von Orbetello steht dieses spanisch militärische Gebäude aus feinen Farben und im Jahr 1692 zusammen mit der gleichnamigen Bastion innerhalb der Festigungssysteme eingebaut. Das Gebäude wurde als Fabrik und Sprengstoffslagerung benutzt. Hier versorgte sich Garibaldi mit den Waffen für den Zug der Tausende nach dem Angriff auf Talamone. Die ehemalige Pulver wurde dann renoviert und heute ist Sitz des Staatlichen Archäologischen Museums von Orbetello.

1. Juli – 31. August: Fr/Sa/So und Feiertage: 18.00 – 22.00
1. – 30. September: Fr/Sa/So und Feiertage: 16.00 – 20.00
1. Oktober -31. Dezember: Fr/Sa:14.30 – 17.30; So und Feiertage 10.00 – 13.00
