Following the wind

Land of sailors and navigators, the Maremma is well known for its international regattas. Punta Ala is home of the popular Luna Rossa which made Italian live exciting moments and love this fascinating sport.
Sailing enthusiasts will find the ever-present pleasant breeze, along the coast of the Maremma and particularly in the areas between Punta Ala and Castiglione della Pescaia and the Argentario.

Sailing courses

In Maremma there are many places for lovers of sailing, including windsurfing, kitesurfing and surfing, and where it is possible to rent equipment and book lessons: about thirty official sailing schools and clubs, but also campsites and resorts.
