There are\u00a03 districts in this region: <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.enjoymaremma.it\/en\/grosseto\/\">Grosseto<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.orbetelloturismo.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Orbetello<\/a><\/strong> and <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.comune.magliano-in-toscana.gr.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Magliano in Toscana<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The park includes dense forests, finds, pristine beaches, huge pastures and a farm owned by the Region of\u00a0Tuscany \u201c<strong>Granaio Lorenese<\/strong>\u201d, home of <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.fondazioneslowfood.com\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Slow Food Foundation for Biodiversity<\/a><\/strong> entirely made of recycled\u00a0and recovered materials.<\/p>\n<h3>Where Nature reigns unchallenged<\/h3>\n<p>From the swap areas of the \u201c<strong>Swamp of the trap<\/strong>\u201d, populated by <strong>webbed feet<\/strong> migratory and non-migratory to\u00a0the<strong> granite<\/strong> cliffs covered by a dense Mediterranean of myrtle, strawberry trees and lentiscus, including rare\u00a0dwarf palms. The territory by the <strong>Monti dell\u2019Uccellina<\/strong> is covered by a Mediterranean evergreen forest\u00a0with secular trees, where you can find different animal species as foxes, wild cats, deer and porcupines.<br \/>\nIn the Maremma Natural Park is it possible to see grazing <strong>cows<\/strong> and <strong>cowboys<\/strong>. In fact, Tuscany really does\u00a0have its own form of horseback heroes called <em>butteri<\/em>.<\/p>\n<h3>Itineraries to discover nature, history and flavor of the park<\/h3>\n<p>A <strong>visit<\/strong> to the Park involving different routes is a privileged opportunity to come into contact with <strong>nature<\/strong> and\u00a0appreciate the <strong>beauty<\/strong> of the Maremma Natural Park. There are 16 planned routes on foot, 4 by bike, 4 on\u00a0horseback, 4 by carriage, 2 by canoe and 1 on foot, and nocturnal itineraries. In collaboration with <em>Slow\u00a0Food<\/em> are organized also <strong>wine tasting<\/strong> tours to discover the local organic products.<br \/>\nOne of the most popular itineraries will take you to the <strong>San Rabano Abbey<\/strong>, a well preserved church in the\u00a0Romanesque Style built in the early eleventh century. A second itinerary runs along the steep cliffs to discover\u00a0ancient towers in the area from Castiglione della Pescaia to Talamone, built to defend the coast from\u00a0pirate attacks. Others itineraries allow you to reach the wild beach of Marina di Alberese or the magnificent\u00a0bay of<strong> Cala di Forno<\/strong>, with its crystal clear water and its crescent shaped beach.
