The sea bottom is sandy with cliffs composed of a\u00a0flourishing flora and fauna ideal for snorkeling lovers.<\/p>\n<h3>Baratti Colors<\/h3>\n<p>This circular gulf which marks the border with the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.parchivaldicornia.it\/en\/find-the-parks\/the-archaeological-park-of-baratti-and-populonia.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Baratti &#8211; Populonia Archeological Park<\/a> is unique for its\u00a0iridescent sands shading from black to blue and from brown to red.<\/p>\n<h3>History of Baratti<\/h3>\n<p>Before the erosion of the gulf coast the modern Gulf of Baratti was originally one of the most important\u00a0Etruscan ports on the Tuscan coastline, an active and bright trading place whose main activity was <strong>iron\u00a0<\/strong>processing and which even today can be considered its distinctive and rich feature.
