\nA place for reflecting in solitude and sharing with nature, Maremma have been chosen from international art- ists as the adopted home for their artistic works. Many of the most popular people of culture have lived for a long time in Maremma: Italo Calvino, Giacomo Puccini and Mario Monicelli are just some of the artists who spend their time in this lovely place.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/3″][vc_column_text]Contemporary art in Maremma<\/strong>
\nThere are three parks of contemporary art in Maremma. Open air museums, which attract visitors from around the world. Contemporary art is also in the Follonica Civic Gallery that every year of- fers temporary exhibitions dedicated to the most important European artists.
